betty has established this Website to provide you with educational resources. In order to access the Website, you will be required to register and provide us with personally identifiable information including but not limited to your name, email address and the school or educational facility that you work for (together "Personal Information"). You are asked to register for verification purposes and so that betty can monitor which resources you open to assist us in our development of new resources.
Use of the Website is subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Policy, and all applicable laws, and by accessing and registering to use the Website, you agree to comply with the provisions of the same.
How will my Personal Information be used?
We will use your Personal Information, which you choose to provide to betty on registration, only for the purpose for which it is provided. All Personal Information provided on registration will be collected, processed and stored on our behalf by EdComs for the purposes of verification and so that betty and EdComs can monitor which resources you open to assist us in our development of new resources. Betty shall not sell or otherwise transfer your Personal Information to any other third parties.
What checks will be carried out on registration?
On registration, the information that you provide to us will be checked against a UK database of teachers and schools, managed by EdComs. This database will allow us to verify your school or educational facility, or update the system in the event that your school or educational facility is not contained on the database. This database is also used to simplify your registration process.
How do we protect your Personal Information?
We use appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification or unlawful destruction or accidental loss of personal Information.
To maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we have procedures in place to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, you acknowledge that you are aware of security and privacy limitations, including but not limited to: (1) the possible limitations or failures of security, privacy and authentication measures and features in this system; and (2) that data or information may be subject to third party eavesdropping, tampering, or alteration.

betty for schools survival kit offer
Offer available to the first 1500 UK schools teaching pupils aged 8-12 to register with betty for schools. We cannot send a survival kit to organisations other than schools within the UK. Offer will close after the 1500 packs have been distributed. betty reserves to right to withdraw this offer. One pack per school.
